Ark Acton School Day - all pupils
Key timing information for our school day:
- Gates open each morning at 8.10am and close at 8.25am.
- Sixth form pupils go directly to form without line up.
- Pupils must be in their form group line, in the MUGA, by the first whistle at 8.27am or they will be sent to the late room.
- Our day runs from 8:30am to 3.10pm on Monday - Friday

Punctuality
To ensure a calm and purposeful start to the school day, students will undertake very important routines to support their overall learning in lessons.
The school gates are open from 8.10am. The students are greeted by the leadership team to ensure they start the day with a positive mindset. Their uniform is checked on arrival. Breakfast club is open from 8.30am.
Pupils who are not in their form group line up by 8.27am are late and will be diverted to the punctuality room. Here, staff will check in, ensure they get support to start the day well and are set a detention for their lateness.
