Things I love about coming to Ark Acton Academy:
Firstly, I love the teachers and the classroom environment. In classes we learn about interesting topics and the teachers are kind and understanding. During break/ lunch time we are allowed to go into different space depending on how we feel e.g. the quiet playground where we can sit quietly and chat. I also like the fact we get Chromebooks of our own to do homework on and there is a school shop to get whatever equipment/uniform we need. I can't imagine myself going to another secondary school and I hope all future years feel the same as me.
Things I wish I knew about coming to Ark Acton Academy:
I wish I knew that this school has very high standards and if I were to not meet them I would get a sanction [detention] ! Also didn't know that we would have many enrichment clubs! Personally, I go to crochet club and everything is provided for me. I also didn't know that while Ark Acton may seem strict the pros far outweigh the cons, with preparation for university and beyond. The three values: Hard work, Honesty & Kindness, help form us as individuals and better people in the wider world.

Things I love about coming to Ark Acton Academy
To start with, I love how caring and understanding the teachers are to the students in the school. It is a safe, clean, and mature place to be in because of how serious they take things especially how much they care about you and your lives as you go through your life. I really like how nice the playgrounds are and how fun the place is to play in they have a lot of fun activities and games like ball games {e.g. Football, Basketball}. Honestly, the place is fun because we get to go on chrome books and do our homework and really have fun, I love how good the lessons are and how much I learn from it. So, I love the school and all my friends in the school. It is a wonderful place.
Things I wish I knew before coming to Ark Acton Academy
I wish I knew this schools' expectations because of the standards we must meet whilst being here other than learning or playing games at lunch time. These standards are things like forgetting equipment or messing around in class e.g. getting reminder, warning, and detention because I did not know how easy it was to get a detention for missing something or not following the Ark Acton's way or its ambitious standards. Although this is all for a good reason – while these rules might feel restrictive, but they serve a good purpose: to help us become well-rounded individuals equipped for our future challenges. Embracing this can lead to personal growth and a stronger sense of community and knowing that sometimes, a firm hand guides us toward brighter horizon.
