From 5th January 2023:

To ensure a calm and purposeful start to the school day, students will undertake very important routines to support their overall learning in lessons. 

The school gates are open from 8.10am. The students will be greeted by the leadership team to ensure they start the day with a positive mindset. Their uniform will be checked on arrival. All year groups have a designated entrance and area in the playground where they can safely wait. 

Ark Acton Academy students will start the school day at 8.32 am by following a tight lining up routine in their tutor groups  The pastoral leader will put their hand up and expect students to follow the social norm of lining up in silence. They will then be led into the building with their tutor.
